NKS Collective, Salur Myndlistarfélagsins, Akureyri, Iceland
NKS was the joint effort of Natalia Kalicki and Samuel Cousin, aiming to explore the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ feeling. They explored marginalized narratives through videos, performances, installations and texts. With concurrent backgrounds in literature, language, computation and visual arts, NKS centered on investigation, participation and humor to engage with the public.
Here are some of their projects.

Rova
ROVA is a two part montage focusing on consumer tokens found on the Arctic Circle. Using an experimental narrative between the filmer and protagonist, we explore the similarities shared by a mall and the Santa Park, with a contradictory forage into an abandoned housing unit nested by an industrial plant. The video culminates in a disruptive realization of an absurd hybrid: We synchronized Rum Tum Tuggers solo piece from Cats with a performance of Hardrock Hallelujah by Lordi. The results are hyper-stressed and delirious.
Part II was screened during Art Matters Festival in Montreal, Canada
