Boundary Issues & Edible Forms of Knowledge, Leipzig

After a month-long residency at the Kombinat e.V. collective studio space in the Spinnerei of Leipzig I presented new work in an immersive dinner installation.

Alongside current paintings, I presented an adapted cookbook which was produced at ArtHouse Jersey last year. Initially the cookbook served as a tool for archiving reflections on the complicated issue of feeling at home in public space from the perspective of migrants.

This dinner installation and tablecloth was an iteration of the book, and an attempt to translate site-specific work and research across contexts and audiences.
